The Media Relations Department at Placentia-Linda Hospital is here to help you with your media story. Whether you are working on a hospital story or just looking for a physician resource, you can count on us to work with you and meetyour deadline. We have medical professionals who you may speak with as a live or phone interview resource for a story you may be working on or for general health information.
Reporters may speak with someone in the Public Relations Department by calling (714) 524-4851 or (714) 524-4800. Media Relations members can be reached Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. After office hours, please call the hospital main phone number at 714-993-2000 and ask for the Marketing person on call to be paged.

After-Hours Assistance If the event of after-hours breaking news, please call (714) 993-2000 and press “0” for the operator and a public relations / marketing person will be paged. Thank you.
Releasing Information to the Media The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) mandated regulations that govern privacy standards for healthcare information. HIPAA regulations specify the purpose for which information may and may not be released to the media without authorization from the patient.
