Cell Phone Usage
We ask that you do not use cell phones inside the facility as they could affect the patient equipment inside the hospital. Thank you for your cooperation.
Smoking Placentia-Linda Hospital is a smoke-free facility. We enforce a “no smoking policy” throughout the hospital and patients, visitors, physicians, personnel and volunteers are not permitted to smoke indoors under any circumstances. For your health and the health of others, smoking is only permitted outside of the hospital in the designated smoking areas. Please be aware of the “no smoking” signs located inside and outside the facility. Designated visitor smoking is located at the main entrance curb area.
Fire Alarms (Announced as “Code Red”) Placentia-Linda Hospital performs frequent fire drills. Fire alarms may sound while you are in the hospital (they are loud ringing bells and flashing lights). When this occurs, we request your cooperation. Please return to your room until you hear the “all clear” page announce over the intercom system. A system will shut your door when the alarm sounds and advise you of the situation.
In The Event of an Earthquake In case of an earthquake, please stay calm and in your bed. If possible, cover your head with your pillow. A nurse will arrive as soon as possible to advise you of the situation.
