Your Meals
Nutritious and well-balanced meals are an important part of your plan of care and recovery. Placentia-Linda makes every effort to provide nutritious meals that are prepared according to your doctor’s orders.

We will deliver a menu to you each morning so you can place your order for the next day. You will then mark your menu and leave it on your bed table. A member of our staff will be by to pick it up.

On occasion, it may be necessary to delay your meal due to a medical treatment or procedure. If your doctor would like you to follow a special diet once you leave the hospital, our dietitian can consult with you to help you incorporate the special diet into your lifestyle.

We understand that some of our patients may have special requests for food. We will gladly customize menus to accommodate your needs including allergies or cultural tastes. Please let your nurse or member of the dietary staff know so we may help with your request.

If you would like a family member or friend to dine with you, he/she may go to the cafeteria, purchase a meal and take it back to your room.

Customer Satisfaction
We want to give you the best service possible and want your complete satisfaction. Please let us know how we’re doing. For example, how is our food service staff doing? How was the appearance and temperature of your food? How was our food service, in terms of being served the food you ordered?

Placentia-Linda Café Hours
The Placentia-Linda Café is open daily and offers hot meals, including items from “the grill” and a salad bar. Hours are:
Breakfast – 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Lunch – 11:15 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Dinner*– 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (*Monday-Friday only)

Other Café Services
In addition, vending machines are located in the cafeteria which provide such items as cold sandwiches, yogurt, muffins, desserts, juice, sodas and more, 24 hours a day.

ATM
An ATM cash machine is located in the cafeteria for your convenience.
