PLACENTIA, Calif. – May 10, 2010 – To further meet the healthcare and surgical needs of North Orange County, we are pleased to announce the opening of the Surgical Pavilion at Placentia-Linda Hospital. The Surgical Pavilion is currently seeing G.I. patients in the new center.
Located on Placentia-Linda Hospital’s south campus, the Surgical Pavilion has its own separate entrance, registration and lobby area in a hotel-like environment for our surgical guests. The Surgical Pavilion is also home to our G.I. Center.
The modern, comfortable surroundings are similar to a boutique hotel and designed with the patient’s maximum comfort in mind, coupled with some of the most advanced technology available. The quality and customer service excellence you expect is, of course, part of the package.
Our surgeons are board certified physicians providing a comprehensive range of general, orthopedic and minimally invasive surgical services for our patients. We specialize in orthopedic and joint replacement services as well as advanced laparoscopy, a technique also known as minimally invasive surgery that uses advanced digital technology and instrumentation to perform major operations through much smaller incisions. This option is offered to patients when appropriate to their specific needs. Other surgical specialties include arthroscopic surgery for knees and shoulders; breast surgery; cardiac pacemaker surgery; carpel tunnel procedures; pediatric surgery; plastic surgery; and vascular surgery.
Attributes of the G.I. Center include individualized patient care areas for your maximum comfort and privacy. Our staff is committed to making you as comfortable as possible with personal touches like warm blankets and service excellence. Our friendly and professional staff treats you with the kindness and respect you deserve and with our advanced technology; we can help diagnose diseases and conditions of the G.I. tract.
Our specialties include: Halo360 system to ablate damaged tissue caused by Barrett’s Esophagus; EsophyX for GERD sufferers; Colonoscopy/Sigmoidoscopy; Colon Cancer Screening; Capsule Endoscopy for the small bowel; G.I. Bleed Intervention; Upper G.I. Endoscopy (EGD); ERCP; and Bravo pH Monitoring.
