Dr. David Chapman is a board certified Gastroenterologist and has practiced in Placentia since 1982.  He is also a board certified internal medicine physician. 

Dr. Chapman attended the University of California, Los Angeles where he graduated with honors and earned his bachelor of science in Chemistry.  He went on to complete his doctor of medicine degree at University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine where he was a Regents scholar with a full academic scholarship.  He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio and then went on to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Southern California.   

Dr. Chapman has won the prestigious “Physician of Excellence Award,” in Orange Coast Magazine, presented by the Orange County Medical Association two times.
