Hamid R. Mir, M.D. – Board Certified Orthopedic Spine Surgeon
Dr. Mir received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1994 from University of California, San Diego. He went on to study medicine at State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn College of Medicine, in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated in 1998 Cum Laude.
Dr. Mir is Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with a subspecialty in Spine Surgery. He did both his internship and Anesthesiology residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago, where he received the Christopher Pavildes Award for “Excellence in Orthopedic Surgery.” He completed his Fellowship in combined Orthopedic/Neurosurgical Spinal Surgery at the Institute for Spinal Disorders at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.
Dr. Mir brings his expertise to the Orange County area to provide personalized and individualized treatment to meet the patients’ needs which can include therapy, medications, epidural injections and/or surgery. For those patients who require surgery, he uses some of the latest technology and surgical procedures to produce optimal results. He has extensive experience in treating patients with spinal conditions in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.
