Health Plan Distinction Awards:

Placentia-Linda Hospital has received the Blue Shield of California Blue Distinction Center status for Knee and Hip replacements.  This is a national quality designation given by Blue Cross and Blue Shield to Hospitals that have demonstrated expertise in delivering better overall outcomes for knee and hip replacement patients.  Qualifying programs offer comprehensive inpatient knee and hip replacement services, including total knee replacement and hip replacement surgeries. 

Placentia-Linda Hospital also received the 2009 Cigna HealthCare Center of Excellence distinction for Total Hip Replacement.
