Placentia-Linda Hospital is Seeking New Volunteers!
The Guild of Placentia-Linda Hospital is looking for volunteers to work in their Gift Shop (evenings and weekends), Reception Desk and in the Radiology Department. They ask that volunteers give a minimum of 4 hours a week and weekend hours are available. If you are interested, please call the Guild Office at (714) 524-4210. Thank you!

Volunteer Membership
Volunteers play an important role in the hospital’s day-to-day activities. Members of the Placentia-Linda Hospital Guild perform a variety of jobs in the hospital’s offices and patient care areas. Here are just some of the needs that our volunteers fill at Placentia-Linda Hospital:
1. Gift Shop salesperson
2. Front Desk Receptionist
3. Staff Assistant - Help with filing or answering
phones and assist with projects including health
fairs, flu shot clinics and other events as well as hospitality hosts.
4. Assistance on the units including Radiology, Lab, Medical/Surgical, DOU
and ER.
5. Flyer – Deliver meals, magazines, mail, and flowers to patients, escort
patients & family members, wheel out our discharged patients, etc.
We give our volunteers a choice in the type of duties they would like to perform and the four-hour shift per week they’d like to serve, including evenings and the weekend.
We are oriented toward service rather than fund raising. However, another way we give back to the community is to award scholarships from our Gift Shop’s profits and other efforts. Each year the Guild offers scholarships to students who plan medically oriented careers.
