Triage
Our staff is trained to determine the severity of each patient's condition and make sure that those with life-threatening illnesses or injuries are seen first.  This is called triage, where a trained nurse assigns a priority to each patient's condition.  These priority levels are immediately life threatening, urgent but not immediately life threatening and less urgent.  This system helps ensure that someone with a life-threatening condition isn't kept waiting because they arrived a few minutes after someone with a more routine problem.
