Tenet Health Names Fred Valtairo CEO of Placentia-Linda Hospital

Placentia-Linda, Calif. – Tenet Health has appointed Fred Valtairo as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Placentia-Linda Hospital, effective immediately.

“Fred has a proven history of technical expertise, demonstrated integrity, and an approach to leadership that emphasizes relationships with his team,” said Nicolas Tejeda, Western Group President for Tenet Health.

Fred joined Placentia-Linda Hospital in 2006, holding several clinical leadership roles before becoming the hospital’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Quality Officer in 2018.

In 2021, Fred was appointed Group COO for Tenet Health’s Pacific Coast Region – a robust healthcare system comprised of four acute care hospitals in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Additionally, he has held the role of Interim Chief Executive Officer at Placentia-Linda Hospital since the beginning of this year.
