Michelle Miller Named Chief Human Resources Officer at Placentia-Linda HospitalOct 1, 2019
PLACENTIA, Calif. – February 6, 2017 – Michelle Miller, MHA, has joined the Placentia-Linda Hospital leadership team as Chief Human Resources Officer.
Miller comes to Placentia-Linda from California’s high desert region, where she most recently served as Director of Human Resources for Barstow Community Hospital in Barstow.
In this position, she led successful efforts to reduce nursing turnover and was recognized in the winner's circle by HR.com’s LEAD (Leadership Excellence And Development) Awards for developing and implementing leadership in-service training. Miller has also played an instrumental role in streamlining human resources processes by utilizing the Lean Daily Management methodology. She obtained her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification when she was with St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, California.

Miller holds a bachelor of science and master’s degree in healthcare administration from Kaplan University and is currently working on her PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Grand Canyon University.
