We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience. To do so, we are actively working with consultants to update the website by increasing its accessibility and usability by persons who use assistive technologies such as automated tools, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers.

We are working to have the website conform to the relevant standards of the Section 508 Web Accessibility Standards developed by the United States Access Board, as well as the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. We believe that conformance with these standards and guidelines will help make the website more user friendly for all people.

Our efforts are ongoing. While we strive to have the website adhere to these guidelines and standards, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website. Placentia, CA, October 31, 2016 – Placentia-Linda Hospital received The Leapfrog Group’s top Safety Grade in the 2016 fall release. The hospital was one of 844 hospitals to receive an “A”, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States. This is the hospital’s 2nd consecutive “A.” in 2016 and its 8th "A" since 2012.

“Placentia-Linda Hospital is proud to again be recognized as an “A” hospital for patient safety by The Leapfrog Group, as a demonstration of our commitment to providing high-quality care,” said Christina Oh, Chief Executive Officer.  “The staff are more than deserving of this high mark, as they are truly dedicated to helping our patients live happier, healthier lives.”

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses 30 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign A, B, C, D and F grades to more than 2,600 U.S. hospitals twice per year. It is calculated by top patient safety experts, peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public.
