Accessibility Statement

We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience. To do so, we are actively working with consultants to update the website by increasing its accessibility and usability by persons who use assistive technologies such as automated tools, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers.

We are working to have the website conform to the relevant standards of the Section 508 Web Accessibility Standards developed by the United States Access Board, as well as the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. These standards and guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. We believe that conformance with these standards and guidelines will help make the website more user friendly for all people.

Our efforts are ongoing. While we strive to have the website adhere to these guidelines and standards, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website. If, at any time, you have specific questions or concerns about the accessibility of any particular webpage, please contact WebsiteAccess@tenethealth.com so that we may be of assistance.

Thank you. We hope you enjoy using our website.

Diagnostic Services

Imaging Services Definitions

  • Digital Mammography
Digital mammography uses x-rays to visualize abnormalities in breast tissue. The equipment is used to detect breast cancer as early as possible, which generally improves the effectiveness of treatment. Click the star for more info.
  • Open MRI: True Open High Field 1.2 Tesla MRI
Our MRI system provides high quality imaging of musculoskeletal, neurological, soft tissue organs within the body, and breast imaging. Our 'true open" modality is ideal for claustrophobic patients with a capacity for up to 450 lbs.
  • CT Scan
Combines X-rays and computers to create images of the body. The result is a detailed picture that can show soft tissues, organs and bones.
  • Ultrasound
Uses sound waves to form images of the body’s interior.
  • Digital X-RAY
Uses low-dose radiation to produce digital images of the skeletal system and vital organs inside the body.
  • Stereotactic Breast Biopsy
Breast imaging option that produces stereo images — images of the same area from different angles. This helps to determine the exact location for the biopsy, where a sample of breast tissue is then removed with a needle.
  • Bone Densitometry
Our Hologic Horizon™ DXA System is capable of not only assessing osteoporosis, but can also assess fracture risk, obesity and cardiovascular disease. This includes a 10-year fracture risk assessment, Instant vertebral fracture assessment, advanced body composition assessment with InnerCore visceral fat assessments and abdominal aortic calcification visualization.
